Donna Mracek,
Founding Partner
A strong team leader with a career spanning 30 years and an array of impressive experiences encompassing work on over 265 brands, yes, that’s right, two hundred sixty five. Originally based in Washington D.C, Donna now lives and works in Silicon Valley, alongside her husband John, who also consults with our clients. At the top of her business achievements (and as a result of her early fascination with the Internet), Donna co-founded one of the nation’s first digital marketing firms, eBrains, where she served as Chief Operating Brain for over 20 years. In 2014, eBrains was acquired by Streetsense, a Washington D.C. - Based Strategy and Design Collective that’s 50% owned by CRBE, the largest publicly traded real estate company in the world.
Ralph Thompson, Founding Partner, CEO
Formally trained as a CPA, Ralph brings over 45 years of successful business relationships to current leadership roles with JMSH and serves as Operating Partner with Affiliate Partner Streetsense Consulting. He served as a top financial leader for a NYSE regional financial institution and created the plan that doubled the stock value in a year. As COO of an ad agency, he created an environment for creativity to prosper and brought an almost bankrupt agency to 10 times its size in 4 years resulting in its sale to one of the top 5 global agency networks, As President of a $150 Million regional brand owned by one of the top 5 global agency networks, he turned a significant loss into a very profitable firm in 12 months by reimagining the company and winning the Florida Tourism brand which was retained for over 12 years due to the stewardship process. His early entry into the internet world in 1999 with the founding of eBrains, Inc together with his partners Donna Mracek and Catherine Seay yielded growth for 16 years and a sale to Streetsense consulting and its 50% owner CBRE, the largest publicly traded real estate company in the world. Ralph has provided strategic counsel, visioning, planning, merger & acquisition, branding and marketing services solutions to numerous marketing communication firm owners, over 265 hospitality brands, including 5 countries, 31 states, multiple economic development authorities, airport authorities, regions, counties, cities, hotels, resorts, restaurants, attractions and airlines. He has deep experience and success stories in just about any other industry category you can think of. His unique gift to tap both sides of the brain yields a 360 degree perspective with different solutions and nontraditional approaches to business, brand and life challenges. His Southern style serves the JMSH team with countless ideas for their realization of values beyond expectation.
Genyne Edwards, Executive Partner
MWBE Partner P3 Development Group, LLC. – As an attorney and consultant, Genyne specializes in building consensus and negotiating public-private partnerships and coalitions, convening community leaders, influential interest groups, public health advocates, government officials and policy makers. Her work as Deputy Secretary for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism earned recognition as one of the most influential African Americans in the tourism industry.
Beth Doane, Creative Partner
MWBE Partner Main & Rose – Beth is an entrepreneur, journalist and author, named by Inc Magazine as one of the top branding experts in the world. As managing partner of Main & Rose, an award-winning, female-led strategic branding agency, she advises top Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, non-profits and executives. She has spoken about media, branding and philanthropy landscapes to audiences at Google, Havard, Capitol Hill, and more. She sits on the Pacific Council for International Policy, The Forbes Council For Young Entrepreneurs, and is an advisor to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights Project. Beth contributes to The Huffington Post and Forbes, among other major outlets. Beth also authored a children’s book, From The Jungle, winning an American Graphic Design Award.
Josh Collins, Managing Partner
As a seasoned professional with a diverse background in music, live entertainment, product, technical, and marketing leadership roles, Josh brings a wealth of experience to JMSH as Managing Partner. Whether building operational rhythms for systems and processes to empower businesses to thrive organically or creating partnerships founded upon healthy stewardship principles, Josh comes alive facilitating human connection for the common good. Making success happen is the air he breaths!

Chris is a highly accomplished executive with an impressive 30+ years in the marketing industry, characterized by a deep expertise in omnichannel marketing strategies. His award-winning creative direction has played a crucial role in the success of campaigns for some of the world's most iconic brands, showcasing a unique ability to craft creative strategies that resonate across diverse platforms and connect with audiences on a profound level. Chris's commitment to marketing excellence, innovative thinking, resourcefulness, practical execution, and willingness to pitch in, provides an invaluable contribution to our team, and clients.
Shelli Jost Brady, Sustainable Growth Partner
Shelli has evolved over 30+ years to an Urbanist, Serial Entrepreneur + Community Catalyst. She has worn many hats including leadership roles in business, education, real estate placemaking, marketing/branding, planning, design, construction, and development. Shelli has served as a Partner, Owner-Developer’s Agent, Planning Commissioner, Community Planner, Construction Manager, Interior Architect and Programming Specialist. Her contributions have earned a respected reputation for problem-solving, creativity and ingenuity particularly under challenging conditions whether for built environments, organizations, initiatives, or boards. Her commitment to building a just, equitable, and sustainable society, bridging divides across demographics, and maintaining broad long-term relationships in business, design, education, and diverse cultural communities of all ages, makes us proud to have her on our team.
Mark Hendrix, Executive Partner
An intense brand strategist and innovation leader, Mark has stewarded the course for scores of companies including Bank One Corporation, Barnett Banks of Florida (Bank, Riggs National, PNC, Fifth Third Bank and many non-financial related companies. Some of his more innovative work has included efforts to navigate the Riggs National Bank brand out of dire global waters and into an acquisition by PNC Bank that created significant shareholder value, the Virtual Wallet at PNC, and reimagining Fifth Third’s consumer segmentation and product offerings which generated hundreds of millions in incremental revenue. Mark is adept at business transformation and has directly led all aspects of the process. His leadership extends to other critical functions such as crisis management, merger and acquisition, due diligence and integration oversight. Mark also spent 10 years in the advertising agency business working on fast food, travel/tourism and financial services at the global firm Ogilvy and Mather and McKinney & Silver, a nationally recognized creative agency.
Cathy Seay, Founding Partner
Cathy is a fine artist, an incredible steward of creativity, and one of the kindest partners we’re honored to work with. She was a founding Partner in JMSH Consulting, originally named eBrains, Inc. until the sale of its tourism division assets in 2014. Cathy has served as its creative director and was one of the first to embrace online digital marketing in addition to her leadership across all communication channels, disciplines, and formats. Cathy is extremely intuitive and has played a key role in the translation of numerous client brand vision and personalities into brand image and communication designs. She has more than 30 years of creative marketing experience in managing creatives, directing, concepting, and producing award winning, effective, creative work in every medium possible. Prior to the founding of eBrains in 1999, Cathy was the Executive Creative Director and principle in a traditional advertising firm in the Washington D.C. area. Raised on a small farm in Fredericksburg, VA, she has traveled the world, but maintained the core values of stewardship, honesty, and kindness as she has contributed to over 300 brands in her career including 245 US Tourism Destinations, Electronic Arts, AOL, Prudential Real Estate, Time Warner, BMW, The Coalition of National Cancer Cooperative Groups, Mercedes Benz, Honda, Universal Studios, Moms in Hawaii, Hardy’s and Chrysalis Wines. Cathy serves on our Founders Board and counsel to our JMSH team as she focuses on her art, vision translations and travel.
Jack Glasure, Executive Partner
A veteran lifestyle branding consultant, Jack is engaged by clients to help ignite awareness. With 15 years of corporate marketing leadership at Chevron USA, followed by 25 years of award-winning PR work on the agency side, Jack is the consummate consultant. He strives to simplify a company’s dialogue to effectively reach niche markets and taps a diverse team of market research analysts and activators. He maintains a solid grasp of pop culture, emerging trends and evolving digital platforms for brand messages. A talent scout and lifelong teacher, he’s known to scour classrooms and military bases in search of the brightest people to support a blue-chip client base. Recognized for leadership, quick ideation and persuasiveness, he’s been instrumental in developing high profile, recognizable campaigns to drive business for hundreds of B2B and B2C brands, from apps, boats, blue jeans, boots, wine, rum and restaurants to race cars, golf equipment, resorts, furniture, art, books, celebrities, real estate properties, private clubs, pro athletes, musicians, destinations and tourism attractions.
Tarik Sedky, Strategic Partner
We have enjoyed our friendship and collaboration for 30 years when we worked on the Gulfstream Aerospace business. Tarik launched Pure in 2011 to create a new, on-demand agency model better suited to the hyper-innovative, digitally driven environment marketers confront today. Not even the world’s biggest agencies can match what a world of talent can provide, so he created Pure to deliver just that. Before Pure, Tarik was Chief Digital Officer of Young & Rubicam where he set the global vision and strategy for the agency’s advance in the digital space while leading key client engagements and business development. Tarik started his career in public affairs at Burson-Marsteller in Washington, D.C. He then switched over to advertising. heading key global accounts for Young & Rubicam in New York City. Tarik also worked client-side as director of interactive marketing at Accenture. He returned to agencies as head of client services at McGarry Bowen and then managing director of Atmosphere BBDO, the North American digital arm of BBDO. He has worked with some of the world’s best-known brands like Target, FedEx, Cingular (now AT&T), Accenture, J&J, Starwood, MetLife, Citibank, Emirates Airline, Texaco, and LG. He has extensive aviation experience, having led the overall advertising business for Gulfstream Aerospace, the digital advertising for Emirates Airline, and working on-site in public affairs for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing - now Boeing (military and commercial) Tarik grew up in Maryland, went to Stanford and lives with his wife and family in New Orleans.
Jess Dishner, Development Partner
As President of Dishner Developers, Inc., Jess has thrived in the Development, Construction, and Real Estate sectors since 1988, with a focus on Sales, Marketing, and Customer Relations. Jess's passion for people drives his commitment to ensuring exceptional building, buying, or selling experiences for his clients. With a life shaped by growing up in a military family, living in 32 homes, and travels across the US and Europe, Jess brings a rich understanding of diverse lifestyles and designs. His portfolio includes managing over 500 projects, from Golf Villas and Equestrian Estates to Rustic Mountain Retreats in North Carolina. He's a Southern Living Custom Builder Program member and an independent builder for WoodHouse Timber Frame company. Jess holds a BBA in Marketing and Management from James Madison University, served as an Artillery Officer in the US Army, and has a decade of experience in Medical Sales with Syntex Labs. Currently, he leads the NC Historic Sites Alliance as its President.
